pics of the house

it's getting there, slowly but surely. But undoing about 200 cartons from our house in Egypt (which was mind-numbingly huge) into our house here (which is decent in size) is quite a challenge. So I guess we'll be going to a fleamarket soon... hehe! How can you end up which so much junk!?!

...YES!

Yesterday, they set up the counter for gas, today the plumber launched the new heating system! Yes, we now are officially good and going!

sunday morning...

...after a good dinner with our frieds, a slow Sunday morning. Quite happy to see some sun after a VERY rainy Saturday.

The kids have a new bed, thanks IKEA. I think Jeremie and Anya have the same one. It will become Arthur's bed once they are up in their room. Hugo has one made by Opa.

just a word

we arrived in Grenoble on June 21. And time just flew by ever since.

We moved into the new house, well, at least into the ground floor as the two upper levels are being remodelled. The garden looked like a jungle but thanks to Dad and Gerard, it looks a lot better now, we're even on our way of having something called a lawn (almost!)

We hope to have the kids moved into the second floor by the beginning of the school year (september 2nd) and us sometime by end of october (inch'allah).

I will try to keep more regular posts and some pics.

cheers
